In a former factory in Milan, between Greco and Viale Monza, this HomeOffice project was brought to life. The goal was to transform two independent studios and superimposed into a space that could be the home and office for a fashion photographer.
First phase, vertical destruction. Two floors would become three. Second phase, light. The two studios, in both cases, had only a single façade facing north. The openings were dilated and the light was captured, added and diffused from above.  In this project dry stratified systems  have been the basis for the realization of all wall partitions and stairs. The stair’s handrail, in most cases a typical protruding element has become a light source cut in the wall. The floors are of rough larch boards first painted black and then individually sanded one by one until obtaining the desired shade. Design pieces and recycled objects furnish the  space.
